  12. This file contains important license information regarding the use of
  13. SUREFIRE, Version S2.0.  This information applies to individual users
  14. who wish to pass copies out to friends and associates.
  15.  
  16. User Groups, Computer Clubs, Disk Vendors and Distributors, BBS SYSOPs,
  17. Subscription Services, Disk-of-the-Month Clubs, etc., should refer to
  18. the VENDOR.TXT file for complete information relating to them.

  28. by Piaf, Inc.  All rights reserved worldwide.

  31. States Copyright laws and also by International Treaty provisions.  Any
  32. use of this software in violation of Copyright law or the terms of this
  33. limited license will be prosecuted to the best of our ability.  The
  34. conditions under which you may copy this software and documentation are
  35. clearly outlined below.

  37. Piaf, Inc. hereby grants you a limited license to use this software for
  38. evaluation purposes for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days.  If you
  39. intend to continue using this software (and/or it's documentation) after
  40. the thirty (30) day evaluation period, you MUST make a registration
  41. payment to Piaf, Inc.

  43. Using this software after the thirty (30) day evaluation period, without
  44. registering the software is a violation of the terms of this limited
  45. license.

  47. Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  48. disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed
  49. program except as provided in this agreement. Any such unauthorized use
  50. shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license.

  55. As the copyright holder for SUREFIRE S2.0, Piaf, Inc. authorizes
  56. distribution by individuals only in accordance with the following
  57. restrictions.

  60.    BBS SYSOPs, Subscription Services, Disk-of-the-Month Clubs, etc.,
  61.    should refer to the VENDOR.TXT file for complete information
  62.    relating to them.)

  64. Individuals are hereby granted permission by Piaf, Inc. to copy the
  65. SUREFIRE S2.0 diskette(s) for their own use (for evaluation purposes) or
  66. for other individuals to evaluate, ONLY when the following conditions
  67. are met.

  69. The SUREFIRE S2.0 package is defined as containing the five files listed
  70. below:

  72.    SFS20A.ZIP
  73.    SFS20B.ZIP
  74.    INSTALL.EXE
  75.    INSTALL.FIL
  76.    PKUNZIP.EXE
  77.  
  78.  o The SUREFIRE S2.0 package, including all related program files and
  79.    documentation files contained in the packed ZIP files, CANNOT be
  80.    modified in any way and must be distributed as a complete package.
  81.    If any files listed above are missing, then the package is not
  82.    complete and distribution is forbidden.  Please obtain a complete
  83.    package suitable for distribution.

  85.  o The SUREFIRE S2.0 package CANNOT be sold as part of some other
  86.    inclusive package.  Nor can it be included in any commercial
  87.    software packaging offer, without a written agreement from Piaf, Inc.

  89.  o The PRINTED User's Guide may not be reproduced in whole or
  90.    in part, using any means, without the written permission
  91.    of Piaf, Inc.  In other words, the disk-based documentation
  92.    may not be distributed in PRINTED (hardcopy) form.

  94.  o The SUREFIRE S2.0 package cannot be "rented" or "leased" to
  95.    others.

  97.  o Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify,
  98.    decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or
  99.    transfer the licensed program except as provided in this
  100.    agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall result in
  101.    immediate and automatic termination of this license.

  103.  o U.S. Government Information:  Use, duplication, or disclosure by
  104.    the U.S. Government of the computer software and documentation in
  105.    this package shall be subject to the restricted rights applicable
  106.    to commercial computer software as set forth in subdivision
  107.    (b)(3)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software
  108.    clause at 252.227-7013 (DFARS 52.227-7013). The
  109.    Contractor/manufacturer is Piaf, Inc., 3918 Orchard Court,
  110.    Boulder, Co  80304-1023, USA.
